As an Oregon Metalsmith with a degree in fine arts from the University of Oregon, Kate has been designing jewelry for over 15 years. She is captivated by the creative and mechanical challenges of transforming her medium into objects of beauty. Each handmade sterling piece is crafted using select tools. She does not use commercially manufactured clasps, chains or preset stones of any kind in her works of art.
